Our Micros.....

We cater for our youngest players with sessions that are designed to make learning basic rugby skills as fun as possible. We use a variety of games to develop coordination, decision making, listening skills, teamwork and handling skills, and then integrate these into tag rugby games to learn the great game.

Lasting 45 minutes and starting at 10am on a Sunday morning, our ‘Micros’ group is targeted at 4 year olds (School Year 1)  and uses games like Bulldog, the ‘scarf game’, ‘Hungry Hippos’ alongside many others to embed the core skills that will help our youngest players to take the next step up to the U6’s.

Our U6’s (School Year 1) begin to incorporate elements of tag rugby alongside the above to help embed learning, and develop an understanding of the basics of tag rugby before moving up to the U7 age group where fun focused fixtures against other clubs will first start to take place. Enjoyment is the number one focus at all times.

Training starts at 10:00am on Sundays
